I do not know if someone made a mistake and that camera never should have been sold through the Canon USA store, or if some of the cameras are like new and others are beaters and that is just the way it is. What arrived wasn't anything close to what was described. So, I ordered the product at that time expecting a like new product. That motivated me to try Canon for a replacement of my Canon S5 IS, so I called the Canon 800 number to find out about their refurb products.ġ) When I said I did not want a scuffed up camera, the agent say Canon does not want you to have a scuffed up camera either!Ģ) Most of the Canon employees buy refurb rather than new because the refurbs are just like new.ģ) The only way I will be able to tell it is a refurb is by the gold dot on the side. I had previously bought a couple of refurb items from the Epson factory store and I could not tell their refurbs from new. So, that means the camera should have been refurbished by Canon USA, not a third party. I bought the camera direct from the Canon USA store. Great AP camera, but not getting used since I bought a cooled CCD.EdB. 1 Fotodiox Pro adapter, has aperture lever for Nikon G lens-to-EOS ($25) 2 Fotodiox Nikon F-to-EOS adapters ($10 each) Aputure AP-TR1C remote timer, brand new ($25) Will list these separately if these do not sell with the body, but those prices will likely be higher due to separate shipping costs:

Optional extras for sale to purchaser of the body. Price is $550 including paypal fee and insured ground shipment in CONUS. Original Canon packaging included (note the photo of the box says it includes the 18-55 lens, but that has been sold, so this is body only. Includes two Canon batteries plus the ACK-E8 AC adapter.

Body and back LCD screen in great shapes, no scratches or scuffs. Only used for AP so in excellent condition EOS count says it has only 3800 shutter actuations. FOR SALE - This Canon Rebel T2i (also known as EOS 550D) was purchased new in late spring 2011 and had the Baader modification done by Gary Honis.
